Notes: This was one of my very first “official” hikes and it was kind of disappointing. The lake was pretty, but the potato chip rock only looked cool for pictures. We did this at the end of summer so it was still really hot! I’m glad I did this hike 5 years ago (I’m finally going back and writing descriptions for each post in 2017) because now I hear it is super crowded and you have to wait in line to take a picture at the chip! Crazy. It was not crowded at all when we went.
